The first night of the two night “Superstar Shakeup” brought an abundance of new characters from Smackdown Live to RAW. The new members of the RAW roster are the following:

  • The Miz w/ Maryse
  • Dean Ambrose (Intercontinental Champion)
  • Apollo Crews
  • Kalisto
  • Bray Wyatt
  • Heath Slater and Rhyno
  • Curt Hawkins
  • Alexa Bliss
  • Mickie James

Apollo Crews was the first name announced prior to the start of show, and along with new acquisitions Kalisto and Heath Slater & Rhyno, did not appear on TV last night. Curt Hawkins return to RAW was met by a Big Show knockout punch. It doesn’t appear as if he will be promoted from jobber any time soon.

The big names that will prove to have an impact are Dean Ambrose, Miz, Bray Wyatt, Alexa Bliss, and Mickie James.

Dean brings with him the Intercontinental Title and with that, RAW now has two mid card titles. The Miz was having the run of his career on Smackdown Live and hopefully a move to RAW can help him pick up some momentum again following his loss to Cena at Mania. Alexa Bliss and Mickie James are a breath of fresh air for the RAW Women’s division. Besides the impending Bayley vs. Sasha match up, all other match ups in this division were starting to feel stale.

The biggest move of the night proved to be the arrival of Bray Wyatt. He appeared on the big screen after a Finn Balor match. He confirmed that he will face Randy Orton in a House of Horrors match (now on the Payback ppv). He warned Finn that he has his eye on him. The eater of worlds vs the demon king sounds great on paper, and if they pull the trigger, it could be a big time program.

Smackdown Live hosts the second part of the Superstar Shakeup tonight and you should expect some big names to move to Smackdown. The Tuesday night show still has the likes of AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, Becky Lynch, and a handful of others, but they are gonna need some more star power to fill out the roster.

Who do you think will move to Smackdown Live tonight?!
